RICHARD LYNTTON writes international spy thrillers inspired by his real-world experience in the British Army, Russia, and the former Yugoslavia.

Born in London, he was educated at Exeter University, Moscow State Linguistic University, and the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. A former British Army captain and tank commander, he later served as a United Nations Military Observer in Russia and Bosnia and testified before the International War Crimes Tribunal in The Hague.

His Jack Steele thrillers combine espionage, geopolitical conspiracy, Cold War intrigue, and high-stakes international suspense. He is a member of International Thriller Writers (ITW).

He lives in Philadelphia with his wife, Michelle, and their two sons.
